Can you see babys hair on ultrasound?🤔
* Hair is easiest to see after about 28–30 weeks of pregnancy.
* On ultrasound, hair may appear as bright, wispy strands floating around the baby’s head.
* Babies with a lot of hair can sometimes have a distinctive “halo” appearance on the scan.
* Seeing hair on ultrasound does not guarantee exactly how much hair the baby will have at birth, but studies have found that visible hair on ultrasound often correlates with having a moderate to large amount of hair after delivery. 🥰
