Friends, we have a big ask today. A peer is fighting for her life and has the chance to go to a facility for the treatment she needs, but she has a cat that she needs cared for. I don't have all the specifics just yet, but know it's an indoor female cat who has been spayed and prefers to be alone. If anyone has a heart for cats and recovery, please get in touch! September is Recovery Month.
And recovery doesn’t look the same for everybody.

Sometimes it looks like treatment.
Sometimes it looks like peer support.
Sometimes it looks like rebuilding relationships.
Sometimes it looks like simply making it through another day without going back to what you used to cope.

Recovery is real. Recovery is possible. And recovery happens in community.

Thank you Brunswick!! We had a wonderful proclamation stop at Mary Ross Waterfront Park!

Our hosts New Roots Glynn did a fantastic job bringing out the community with support from Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, Gateway Community Service Board, Grace House of Brunswick, Inc., Willingway, and other partners.

Mayor Pro Tem Lance Sabbe will be giving an official proclamation, and we’ll also have representatives there from Georgia Council for Recovery, New Roots Glynn, Grace House, and Willingway.

Come say hi, sign the bus, and show how much our community cares about recovery!
