After much thought, I have made the decision to begin an exciting new chapter in my career.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the incredible team at Family Health Chiropractic I am deeply thankful for the opportunity to work alongside such talented professionals and to care for so many wonderful patients. The knowledge, experience, and clinical skills I have gained during my time there have been invaluable, and I will always appreciate the role the practice has played in my professional journey.

Every chapter in life prepares us for the next, and I leave with sincere appreciation for everything I have learned.

I am also excited to share that I will now be dedicating myself fully to Oceanside Massage & Wellness. It has been a dream of mine to create a space where every client receives individualized, compassionate care in a calm, restorative environment.

I look forward to welcoming those seeking personalized, medically informed, and trauma-informed massage therapy, and to continuing to serve our community with the same professionalism, integrity, and heartfelt care that have guided me throughout my career.

This morning I volunteered at a horse sanctuary.

After the chores were finished and the water troughs were cleaned and filled, Hammy the donkey walked over and rested his head against me.

For nearly ten minutes, we stood quietly in the morning sunshine.

No urgent calls.
No to-do lists.
No rushing to the next task.

Just stillness.

It struck me how uncomfortable many of us have become with simply being present. We move from one responsibility to the next, carrying stress, tension, and mental clutter, rarely allowing ourselves a moment to simply pause.

Yet sometimes healing begins in the quiet moments.

A deep breath.
A walk outside.
A cup of tea.
A massage.
Ten minutes standing in the sunshine with a donkey.

Today was a reminder that rest isn't something we earn after we've done everything else.

It's something we need along the way.
