This week at Heatherwood, we proudly celebrated the incredible women veterans and veteran spouses who are part of our community.

We were especially honored to recognize Ms. Kathleen “Kate” Wilder for her outstanding accomplishments and service as the first female Green Beret. Her strength, dedication, and trailblazing spirit are an inspiration to us all.

It was a meaningful time of appreciation, reflection, and connection as we honored the stories and sacrifices of these remarkable women. Thank you for your service—this week and always. ❤️

This week, the Heatherwood Community took a sweet trip to Peterson's Ice Cream Depot🍦

Everyone enjoyed delicious ice cream and even sweeter company! One of our community members—and former Mayor of Clifton—had a special moment reconnecting with his predecessor, who is also the owner of Peterson’s. The two shared stories and laughs together right on the front porch next door, making the afternoon extra meaningful.

It was a perfect blend of community, memories, and treats! 💙

This month’s Taste of RUI: From Farm to Fork was a wonderful full-day experience for the Heatherwood community.

Residents started the morning at the local farmers market, selecting fresh, seasonal ingredients alongside our team. Those ingredients then inspired our Culinary team, who prepared a beautiful tomato flight tasting for everyone to enjoy in the afternoon.

It was a perfect celebration of fresh food, community connection, and hands-on fun from start to finish.
