Could “cortisol face” actually be telling you something else? 👀

Puffy face. Facial bloating. A fuller-looking face that seems to appear out of nowhere.

You may have heard this called “cortisol face” and been told you need to lower your cortisol or try a cortisol detox.

But here’s what most people aren’t talking about: cortisol isn’t the enemy.

In this episode of Accelerated Health with Sara Banta, I’m breaking down what may actually be behind facial puffiness, how chronic stress can affect your body, and why simply trying to “detox cortisol” may be missing the bigger picture.

If you’ve been struggling with puffiness, stubborn weight, or feeling like your body just isn’t responding the way it used to, you’ll want to hear this.

We spend so much time working, taking care of others, and keeping up with everything life brings. This weekend, give yourself permission to slow down, enjoy the people around you, and recharge.

Your health isn’t something you have to earn. It’s something worth taking care of every day. ❤️💙

Wishing you and your loved ones a happy, healthy Labor Day Weekend!

Your p**p might be giving you clues about your gut health, hormones, and overall wellness.

Yes, we’re really talking about p**p. 💩

Your bowel movements can tell you more than you might think. Frequency, consistency, ease, and appearance can all offer clues about how well your digestive system is functioning.

If you’re eating every day but not p**ping regularly, dealing with bloating, or constantly feeling like you haven’t fully emptied, it may be time to pay closer attention.

A healthy bowel movement should generally be easy to pass, formed, and without pain or excessive straining.

And that’s why your p**p isn’t “gross” — it’s information.

📌 SAVE this post as your quick p**p + gut health reference. You may want to come back to it the next time your digestion feels… off.

Then ask yourself: What is your p**p trying to tell you?

Your A1C is “NORMAL”… so why won’t the belly fat budge? 👀

Here’s what many people miss: a normal A1C doesn’t necessarily mean your insulin levels and metabolic health are optimal.

Your A1C can look perfectly normal while your body is producing more insulin than it should to keep blood sugar in range.

And if you’re:
• Eating well
• Exercising consistently
• Watching your calories
• Doing everything “right”
• Still struggling with stubborn belly fat

…it may be time to look beyond blood sugar alone. 🔎

Insulin resistance can develop before your A1C moves outside the “normal” range.

The question is: Could insulin be the missing piece behind your stubborn belly fat?

SAVE this post so you remember what to ask about at your next lab review. ✨

Then comment INSULIN 👇 and I’ll send you my protocol.

You may be looking at the wrong number. 👀

Are GLP-1 drugs really a weight-loss solution—or are we overlooking the root cause? 👀

GLP-1 medications were originally developed to help manage diabetes and blood sugar, but their weight-loss effects quickly became a major focus.

So what happens when we use them without addressing the metabolic issues underneath?

According to Dylan Gemelli, the conversation needs to go deeper than simply chasing the number on the scale. Insulin resistance, nutrition, food timing, exercise, and daily habits may all play an important role in addressing the foundation of metabolic health.

The question is: Are we treating the symptom… or actually fixing the problem?

This episode may completely change the way you think about GLP-1s, weight loss, and metabolic health.

Watch or listen to the full episode with Dylan Gemelli on Accelerated Health with Sara Banta through the links below to hear the bigger conversation and why the “shortcut” may not always be the solution.

Postpartum hair loss after nursing? Your hair may be revealing a deeper metabolic signal. 👀

Hair follicles are highly metabolic, so when key nutrients and thyroid signaling aren’t adequately supported, the growth cycle can shift—sometimes even when standard bloodwork comes back “normal.”

Instead of simply chasing shedding, the real question may be: what is your body missing to support healthy hair regrowth?

Iodine, amino acids, copper, thyroid signaling, and overall metabolic health can all play important roles in the bigger picture.

Want to find out what may be standing between you and healthier hair?

Comment “HAIR” below and I’ll share a free coaching protocol that can help you understand where to start. 👇

Frequent nosebleeds in kids aren’t always “just something kids go through.” What if the symptom is actually pointing to something deeper? 👀

Most people treat the symptom.

Very few stop and ask: Why is this happening in the first place?

A child experiencing frequent nosebleeds may have underlying nutritional needs that deserve attention. Minerals such as copper and trace minerals play important roles in normal blood vessel structure, fluid balance, and oxygen transport.

Instead of simply asking, “How do we stop the nosebleeds?” it may be worth asking:

“What is the body trying to tell us?”

Because sometimes, the biggest breakthrough starts with going back to the foundation—giving the body the nutrients and support it needs to function properly.

And when you understand the why behind a symptom, you may start looking at your child’s health in a completely different way.

Save this post for the next time you hear, “It’s probably nothing.”

Share this with a mom who needs to see this—and then tell me in the comments: Would you look at the symptom differently after learning this?

Could methylene blue be more than a cellular energy tool? 👀

What if supporting your mitochondria could also impact the way your skin ages?

Methylene blue has been discussed for its potential role in supporting skin fibroblast activity, collagen and elastin production, cellular turnover, and healthy aging. And when paired with bio-peptides, the goal is to support the cellular processes that help maintain that youthful-looking skin bounce. ✨

But here’s the part you don’t want to overlook: not all methylene blue products are created the same.

When choosing a methylene blue supplement, purity, formulation, and intended use matter. In this episode of Accelerated Health with Sara Banta, I explain why methylene blue is being explored as a cellular energy and mitochondrial support tool—and how that connects to the brain, skin, circulation, and overall resilience.

Want to understand the full story? Watch or listen to the full episode through the links below and discover what you need to know before choosing methylene blue.
