We all know Young Living is built on incredible products. But what has always inspired me the most is the people behind those products.

This weekend was another reminder of that.

When Howard Gurney and the science team got to the airport, they were told they couldn’t take any of the equipment with them to Canada. Most people would have accepted it, changed the plan, and moved on.

Not Howard.

He loaded every piece of equipment into his personal truck and drove 14 hours straight because he didn’t want to let this community down. That’s just who he is.

We’re not perfect. We make mistakes. We always have room to improve.

But I’ll tell you this… the people behind Young Living love this community more than you’ll ever know. The sacrifices they make behind the scenes happen every single day, and most of them will never be seen. That’s what makes this company so special.

Howard is just one of many unsung heroes at Young Living. It’s impossible to name them all. They don’t wear capes. They don’t look for recognition. They simply show up, day and night, serving this community because they believe in what we do and the people we serve.

What many people don’t know is why Howard is so passionate about health.

When he was just a little boy, he was called to the hospital to say goodbye to his mom. Thankfully, that goodbye never came. Instead, he spent the next 20+ years by her side, watching her fight for her health and spending countless hours in hospital rooms with her.

That experience changed him forever.

It taught him that taking care of our bodies shouldn’t start when we’re sick. It starts long before that. It starts by nourishing our bodies at the cellular level.

That’s why he does what he does today.

Every product he works on is personal. Every decision he makes is driven by a desire to help people live healthier lives.

Howard, thank you for caring the way you do. Thank you for the 14-hour drive. Thank you for your passion and your heart.
