A successful first-ever Haircut Day at Growing in Motion!✂️💇🏽‍♀️

We know that haircuts can be challenging for many children and families, so it meant so much to be able to offer a supportive, sensory-friendly environment for this experience.

A huge thank you to Karli from Spectrum of Beauty for joining us and helping make the day so special. It was wonderful to see so many families and kids. We loved every minute of it! 😊

Happy National Speech-Language-Hearing Month! 💬👂💓

Yesterday, our staff had the opportunity to spend the day learning from speech-language pathologist Mahnaz Maqbool during a continuing education training focused on DIRFloortime®, language, praxis, and play.

Through this training, our therapists deepened their understanding of the relationship between movement, postural control, and language development, while exploring play-based and narrative-based intervention strategies to better support their clients.

We are incredibly grateful to Mahnaz for sharing her expertise and helping our team continue to grow in providing thoughtful, child-centered care.
