Good morning friends! Here’s my friendly reminder that while peer support is vital to feeling successful in anything- especially breast/chest feeding, crowdsourcing information and googling is not the most effective means of getting help. If you are struggling with milk supply or latch, please contact a lactation consultant. IBCLCs are trained in infant feeding and lactation, unlike your GP, pediatrician or OB/GYN. We work collaboratively with other health care professionals for the best outcome! Many IBCLCs are covered by your health insurance and some (like me) have the opportunity to practice free of charge.

Friends! If you’re in Seneca County (Ohio) get over to Mercy Hospital before noon! We’re having a family resource fair. Every family gets a pack of diapers, and we have 17 deluxe pack and plays to give away to families who have a baby under one year or expectant parents!!!
