CrossFit Carroll Small Group Exercise Class
What is CrossFit? By Greg Glassman

CrossFit is a core strength and conditioning program. We have designed our program to elicit as broad an adaptational response as possible. CrossFit is not a specialized fitness program but a deliberate attempt to optimize physical competence in each of ten recognized fitness domains. They are Cardiovascular and Respiratory endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy. The CrossFit Program was developed to enhance an individual’s competency at all physical tasks. Our athletes are trained to perform successfully at multiple, diverse, and randomized physical challenges. Absolutely anyone from grandparents to elite athletes! Anyone who wants to perform acts of daily living with healthy body movements and get into great shape while doing it! We have a true sense of community with an absolutely fun and supportive group of people who all workout together and urge each other on daily. What we offer at Carroll CrossFit:
Everyone starts with a Fundamentals Class. This includes 6 one on one half our personal training sessions:
- 7 point fitness assessment to give a baseline of starting fitness. These are performed free at the end of each quarter.
- 4 technique sessions learning most of the basic movements of CrossFit that will be used in class
- A nutrition session learning the basics of the Zone nutrition program.

To my former members, thank you for what you have helped us build here at CrossFit Carroll. Hopefully since you’ve moved on, you found something that better fits your schedule and has helped you make progress towards your health goals.
But……….
If you had intentions to do that, and it never happened, I would like to welcome you back for FREE. You can return to class for the rest of September at no cost. I know that the hill to climb getting back and seem high, but if we take it one step at a time, you can get back on top. And you can get started with those first steps for free. We continue to have 530, six, 630 and 8:30 AM classes. Along with 1230, 330 and 5:30 PM classes. No questions asked. Just a welcome back to the community that supports you.

The 830 crew took the last Fill the Gym Friday and put together a great workout for today.
