This is what my workday looks like when I donโt โhave it all together.โ Doing what I can, when I can, with the capacity I have. ๐ฎโ๐จ
And honestly, this is a big part of why I chose entrepreneurship in the first place.
After my granny passed, I realized I couldnโt mentally handle the demands of a traditional 9โ5 while carrying that kind of grief. I needed flexibility. I needed room to breathe. I needed to be able to structure my life and work in a way that allowed me to still function when life got heavy.
And now, after losing my father, Iโm even more grateful that I established this life for myself.
Yes, being self-employed comes with its own challenges. Itโs not always easy, and there are definitely days when I miss the structure and certainty that comes with a traditional job.
But I genuinely wouldnโt have it any other way.
Because life keeps moving. The world keeps spinning. Bills still come. Emails still need responses. Work still exists.
Even when grief and loss make your world feel like it has come to a complete standstill.
Iโm grateful that I created a life that gives me the flexibility to function amongst all that is going on. ๐๐๐พ
