Today, ConnorsK9-PAWS pauses to honor the courageous men and women who were wounded or made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our nation.
The Purple Heart represents far more than a medal. It represents courage, sacrifice, resilience, and a commitment to something greater than oneself.
As an organization dedicated to serving our veteran community, we recognize that the sacrifices of military service do not always end when the uniform comes off. We remain committed to standing beside our veterans, honoring their service, and ensuring they know they are never forgotten.
To every Purple Heart recipient, to the families who have stood beside them, and to those whose sacrifice can never be repaid:

EXCITING NEWS!!!!

Our very own PAWS Donut, of ThorntonPD , took on his latest challenge this morning at Park Meadows mall and he passed his Canine Good Citizen, Canine Good Citizen Advanced, Community Canine, Therapy Dog, and Public Access Tests with both of his handlers. This amazing pup has been working hard and we’re proud of his progress!!!

Our friends at BoxDrop Mattress & Furniture Castle Rock, CO sure didn’t mess around. They set out to raise money and support PAWS and they over achieved! We are so grateful to them for their amazing efforts, PAWSome staff, and incredible support of our veterans, dogs, and programs!

Take a moment today, reflect on your life and how different it would be without the freedoms that these men and women gave their lives for.
