Clickbait Got Me Again (Almost)

I need to share this because I KNOW I’m not the only one.

I once bought “plants that breathe at night” from an ad. 🌿😂
My kids STILL remind me.

I’ve also clicked sketchy ads before… and ended up dealing with credit card issues TWICE in two weeks.

So I changed how I browse — safer searches, direct websites, protected browser.

Then I saw this:

👉 “Answer 15 minutes of AI questions and get paid!”

Almost clicked. But it felt off.

So I asked AI itself if it was legit.

30 seconds later — confirmed scam. Done. Avoided.

What could’ve been hours of damage turned into seconds of clarity.

AI didn’t just give me info… it saved me time, stress, and a headache.

If you’ve ever fallen for clickbait before… you’re not alone 🙋‍♀️

“I parent imperfectly, but I pray intentionally.” 🤍

We don’t have to get everything right to raise with love and purpose. We just have to keep showing up—and keep praying.

God fills in the gaps we can’t.

Drop a 🤍 if you’re parenting with prayer today.

This little PATCH became a meaningful part of my husband’s recovery journey after his torn meniscus 🦵✨

We’ve seen how small, consistent support can make a difference—not just for him, but for others on different wellness paths too.

Healing looks different for everyone, but hope and consistency matter.

Drop a 🤍 if you believe in natural recovery journeys.

Just for today, I will ask for His grace to speak words that make these children feel strong. 🤍

Grace-filled words can become a safe place for someone who needs it most.

May we all choose words that heal, encourage, and strengthen today.

Drop a 🤍 if you’re choosing grace today.

Glinda at Storytime.

Tuesdays are Storytime at @‌mercercountylibrary in my childhood hometown. It still feels surreal that everything has come full circle—and now I get to bring two of my granddaughters each week.

This week was extra special because I delivered a Glinda dress to the youngest… and of course she wanted to wear it to storytime. The librarians loved it.

But that wasn’t even the whole story.

We arrived extra early, and I figured we could play on the computers since we hadn’t used them last year. And honestly—kudos to their parents—because at age 5 and 3, these sweeties didn’t know how to make the mouse work.

So I spent time with each of them, hand-over-hand, teaching them how to click, drag, drop, and scroll. In today’s day and age, it’s wild (and kind of wonderful) to realize what kids do and don’t automatically know.

And if that wasn’t enough excitement… Elizabeth heard singing during naptime and captured the youngest practicing for her future Broadway audition.

Some mornings are loud and messy and ordinary.
And some are straight-up magic.

Question: What’s a “full circle” moment you’ve experienced lately?

Sharing one of the patch placement routines I personally like using when my knees feel overworked or tired after a long day. 😊

I always find it interesting how much consistency and placement can matter when it comes to wellness routines.

Not making medical claims — just sharing what has become part of my personal wellness habits and what I’ve found supportive for me.

Sometimes simple wellness tools can fit really naturally into everyday life. ✨

Throwback Thursday to one of my favorite stories from when Zechariah came home from boot camp in 2020. 🇺🇸

This clip was from the night we picked him up at the airport, and he was so proud and excited to tell us all the stories.

One of the funniest was about his care package.

We had sent him pictures of Rachel, Luke, his friends, me, his mom… and even our chickens. 🐔😂

But apparently, a few of those pictures became VERY popular with the drill sergeants. They kept stealing them, making comments, and one sergeant even had a special request for my son, the private.

You’ll have to watch the video to find out which pictures they kept taking — and why.

It is funny, sweet, and such an endearing little glimpse into that season of his life.

I’m so thankful we have these stories captured. ❤️

From 20/40 to 20/30 in just 4 weeks of patching 👁️✨

Sometimes progress doesn’t look dramatic day to day—but over time, consistency tells a different story.

We’re grateful for this improvement and the journey it represents.

Drop a 🤍 if you believe in steady progress.
