Congratulations to our very own Advisory Board Member, Charlie Kanan on this incredible accomplishment.

With deep gratitude, we are celebrating Charlie Kanan’s fourteen years of leadership as he prepares to retire as Chairman of Waytek’s Board on December 31, 2026. Following his retirement, Charlie will be recognized as Chairman Emeritus and continue his relationship with Waytek as an advisor.

Charlie has helped shape the company we are today. During his years as CEO and Chairman, he guided Waytek through growth and change while preserving the culture, customer commitment, and family values that make this business special.

The honorary Chairman Emeritus title recognizes that lasting contribution. His separate advisory role will allow him to share his experience with the CEO and the next Chairman.

There’s no doubt that it takes a village to lift each other up and support each other through the ups and downs of life. Yesterday, our LivWell Partners | Workplace Mental Health team had the honor of showing up for the Face It Foundation for Men’s Mental Health at Alive at the Links.

The true heroes though? These two… Aaron Daeges - Supreme Lending & Caleb Carlson that golfed all day in the rain. They did it for all the men out there struggling, but what meant the most, is they did it for all the men that have lost their battles with mental illness and have died by su***de- that includes my own dad and Shoshannah Carlson brother. Aaron & Caleb- thanks for being awesome husbands, fathers and humans in general- it doesn’t go unnoticed. Huge thanks to Joey Cameron & David Chase for golfing with the team also!

We came together yesterday to continue raising money and awareness to prevent su***de. It doesn’t get much more powerful than that.

38 more people are QPR (question, persuade, refer) su***de prevention certified, thanks to Wheat Trail Festival, LIVIN Foundation and LivWell Partners | Workplace Mental Health Training Director, Ray Stenglein. Imagine the ripple effect in our communities that these 38 individuals will make as a result of their commitment to learning more about how they can help.

In attendance we had a Police Chief, Firefighters, EMT’s, Nurses, Construction Workers and Farmers.

Huge thanks to Wheat Trail Festival and the sponsors that made this possible and brought this to the Chatfield community.

QPR teaches how to identify suicidal warning signs in friends, families and co-workers and more importantly, what to do and say to help them.
