🌿 This Week’s Wellness Win 🌿

Dimension of Wellness Vocational and Social

Activity: Cooking

Story: Our Residents recently enjoyed a delicious and hands on activity, making homemade pizzas. Everyone had the opportunity to help and spread the sauce cut up the veggies and sprinkle on plenty of cheese . They even choose their own toppings . The activity brought back wonderful memories of cooking at home and preparing meals with the family. Residents shared stories, laughed together and enjoyed the wonderful smell of pizza baking in the oven. Of course the best part was getting to eat our homemade creations! The pizzas turned out delicious , and everyone agreed that food tastes even better when it is made together. Activities likes this provide more than just a tasty treat. They encourage socialization, creativity, independence, and a sense of accomplishment. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with teamwork, conversation. And lots of smiles. I hope everyone has a blessed weekend.
