On Saturday, October 17th, the team from Chardon Woods proudly laced up our walking shoes and hit the pavement for the Alzheimer’s Walk. 💜

Every single day, our incredible care team strives to provide the absolute best care possible for our residents living with memory loss.

Our residents got creative in therapy while learning about fall prevention! Each pumpkin was decorated with an important safety tip to help remind everyone of simple ways to reduce fall risk and stay safe.

🍁 Wear supportive, non-slip footwear
🍁 Keep walkways clear of clutter
🍁 Use your walker, cane, or other mobility device as recommended
🍁 Take your time when standing up and moving
🍁 Keep frequently used items within easy reach
🍁 Make sure rooms and hallways are well-lit
