I started this because I knew there were things men were carrying that nobody was talking about.

I knew there were men who desperately wanted to be better husbands and fathers, they just didn’t know how.

And I knew there were men who loved God, but were afraid to be spiritual leaders in their home.

I never imagined this would become what it’s becoming.

What began with a microphone, a few honest conversations, and a desire to talk about the things that actually matter has now reached 1,000 people.

But behind that number are real men.

Men who listened on a hard day.
Men who shared something that hit home.
Men who sent a message.
Men who encouraged me when I needed it.
Men I may never meet, who still chose to be part of this.

And that’s what gets me right in the heartstrings.
Because 1,000 isn’t just a number to me.

It represents everyone who has given me a reason to keep going; knowing that what I’m doing is actually making a difference in men’s lives.

Honestly, I’m humbled in a way I don’t really know how to put into words.

Brother, thank you for believing in what I’m trying to build here; for giving me your time, and for letting me share a little piece of my life with you.

I’m incredibly grateful you’re here.
Let’s keep building better men, together. 🤘🏼🥹

Brother,

There will always be another man.

Another man who makes more money.
Another man who has a more stable career.
Another man who has more knowledge.
Another man who has more friends.
Another man who leads better.

But that doesn’t make him more of a man than you.

And if you’re not careful, you’ll spend your whole life looking sideways; measuring your worth against men you were never called to become.

I know that feeling.

That quiet voice that whispers in your mind, “You should be further along by now.”
That feeling that somehow you’re falling behind while everyone else is moving forward.

You don’t have to outrun every other man to be worthy of respect. You don’t have to prove yourself to earn your place. And you don’t have to become somebody else before Jesus can be proud to call you His.

Your identity was never meant to be built on how you measure up to other men.

It’s found in Christ.

So if you’re that guy today, the one quietly wondering if you’re enough, if you’re doing enough, if you should have more to show for your life by now…

I just want you to hear this:

You are not a disappointment.

You don’t have to walk into the room and prove your worth.

And maybe you’re not where you thought you’d be by now. That’s okay, brother.

You are not behind.
You are not forgotten.
You are not less valuable because somebody else is further ahead.
You’re still His son.
You’re still loved.
You still belong.

And you don’t have to become someone else to be worth loving.

There is nothing you could accomplish that would make God love you more…and nothing you could fail at that would make God love you less.

Sunday nights can be quiet enough to hear the things we’ve been trying not to think about.

The pressure of the week ahead.
The things we didn’t get done last week.
The conversations we’re dreading.
The weight we’ve been carrying quietly.

I’ve had plenty of Sundays where I’ve looked toward Monday and wondered if I really had enough left in me for another week.

But I’m learning that God never asked me to carry the worries of tomorrow in my mind tonight.

So tonight, I’m giving God what I can’t control.
Tomorrow, I’ll take the next step of obedience.

Whatever this week holds, I’m reminding myself that I don’t have to walk into it afraid or alone.

And brother, neither do you. 🫶🏼

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” - Matthew 6:34

I think sometimes as men we convince ourselves that if we can’t fix something or if we don’t know something, then we really don’t have much to offer.

But the reality is that’s not true.

Brother, you may feel like you have nothing to give right now. But one thing you can always offer is your kindness. You can still encourage someone. You can still make somebody’s day a little lighter.

You don’t actually need to have it all together to make a difference.

Sometimes, a simple act of kindness is more meaningful than you’ll ever know.

And sometimes, what feels small to you is exactly the hope someone else needed today to keep going.

I almost didn’t record this episode.

Lately, I haven’t felt like myself. I’ve been sick, mentally worn down, discouraged, and honestly struggling to find the motivation to keep creating. I’ve questioned the podcast, questioned whether any of this is actually making a difference, and found myself paying far too much attention to numbers that were never supposed to determine my worth.

And if I’m being completely honest…I’ve thought about quitting.

So this episode is different.

There’s no polished lesson. No five-step formula. No pretending I have everything figured out. Just an honest conversation about what it feels like when the guy who spends his time encouraging other men suddenly finds himself discouraged.

Because maybe you’ve been there too, brother…

Maybe you’re exhausted.

Maybe you’ve been questioning your purpose.

Maybe you’re carrying something nobody knows about.

Maybe you’re wondering if you’re failing when, in reality, you might just be tired.

And maybe faith doesn’t always look like feeling strong. Maybe sometimes it looks like admitting you’re struggling, turning toward God anyway, and taking the next faithful step even when you don’t know what comes next.

So yeah, I’m not ashamed to admit I almost quit.

Because that means I’m still here.

And maybe, for today, that’s enough.
