🎉 A TRANSFORMATIONAL MOMENT FOR COMMUNITY HEALTH IN WEST VIRGINIA!
Spotted Owl Healthcare Organization (SOHO) is proud to announce that we have received $1.174 million through West Virginia’s Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) to launch Work Well WV.
Work Well WV will expand workplace wellness and preventive health services while helping individuals in recovery from substance use disorder successfully return to the workforce. The initiative will connect participants with clinical care, wellness resources, employment opportunities, and the support needed to achieve long-term stability.
We are honored to partner with Chesapeake Healthcare Center, which will serve as the primary clinical hub for this initiative. Together, we will build a coordinated referral network that connects residents to healthcare providers, community resources, workforce services, and meaningful employment opportunities.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Governor Patrick Morrisey and the State of West Virginia for investing in SOHO’s vision and recognizing the importance of prevention, recovery, workforce participation, and accessible community-based care.
This $1.174 million award represents more than funding—it represents new opportunities for individuals, healthier workplaces, stronger families, and a more resilient West Virginia workforce.
We are excited to begin this journey with Chesapeake Healthcare Center and our growing network of clinical and community partners.
The work starts now. West Virginia is ready to Work Well!
