You scream, we scream, we all scream for ICE-CREAM! 🍦💗😋

Our ABA team and kiddos participated in some sweet fun, whipping up some homemade ice-cream last week. Hands on activities like these help build skills, encourage teamwork, and create memories that last. From measuring ingredients to mixing and churning, each step is packed with learning opportunities.

Our kiddos practiced following directions, enhancing their fine motor skills, and collaborating with their peers. These moments create lasting memories, reinforcing friendships and promoting social interaction in a fun environment. Plus, who doesn’t love the delicious reward at the end? 😋

KidSpeak is cruising through our summer themes. Our clients have loved exploring the garden, diving under the sea, and celebrating the 4th of July. 🎆🐬🥕

With only a few weeks left in summer, be sure to join us for our exciting upcoming themes:

🦖 Dino Week from 7/13-7/17: Get ready to stomp around with dinosaurs! We'll dive into the fascinating world of these prehistoric creatures through fun activities, crafts, and games that will spark your child's imagination and curiosity.

🐞 Bug Week from 7/20-7/31: It's time to get buggy! Join us for a week full of exploration, where we'll learn about different insects and their habitats. Kids will have hands-on experiences that include bug hunts and art projects.

🍨 Sweet Treat Week from August 3rd-14th: Celebrate the end of summer with all things sweet! From baking to crafting, this week will be filled with delicious activities that will satisfy every sweet tooth.

Did you know that May is National Speech Language Hearing Month? This month is dedicated to raising awareness about communication disorders and the professionals who assist with speech, language, hearing, swallowing, and cognitive communication needs.

At KidSpeak, we honor the voices, progress, and milestones of every child we have the privilege of working with each day. From a client who can now tolerate a single bite of pudding to someone using a 2-word phrase for the first time or gaining access to an AAC device to express their wants and needs— we are grateful to support our families every step of the way. 🗣️🍽️🧠💜
