They’re powerful tools for building speech and language skills! Through reading, you can target vocabulary, following directions, WH-questions, grammar, storytelling, speech sounds, inferencing, and social communication. Choose a book and turn story time into a fun learning opportunity!

Bidding a SWEET FAREWELL to summer! 🍦

Our team enjoyed a delightful treat and took a trip down memory lane with an ice cream truck visit. We reminisced about those carefree summer days filled with laughter, sunshine, and of course, the joy of indulging in our favorite frozen delights. 🍨✨ It was the perfect way to celebrate the season before we transition into autumn's cozy embrace. - Sound Scavenger Hunt: Create a scavenger hunt around the house with items that start with specific sounds. For instance, if they are working on the "s" sound, look for things like "sock," "spoon," or "soap."

- Daily Routines: Integrate speech practice into daily activities. For example, during mealtime, have them describe their food or share what they did during the day using the target sounds.

Our areas of expertise include articulation and speech sound disorders, feeding and swallowing difficulties (dysphagia), cognition and cognitive-communication, fluency (such as stuttering), hearing and auditory rehabilitation, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), social communication skills, voice disorders, and language comprehension and expression.
