Chemo treatment was on Friday. He did pretty well over the weekend. Started feeling rough yesterday. Had a follow up dr appointment with the surgeons office and nutritionist that has been on his team since December. They are keeping everything the same for now unless his oncologist decides differently on Thursday. This weekend since it’s his free weekend from chemo we are going to lake lure with his kids and grandkids sister and brother n law for some much needed fishing and relaxation. I hope he starts feeling better soon. He has a lot of fishing stuff to pack and I have NO clue what he needs. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers sent our way.

Treatment #6! So far today it has been rough. We haven’t even got there yet and he feels so bad. My hope is when they give him the steroids this morning he will feel good for a little while. Normally it gives him a boost of energy and he is good for 2 or 3 days. Last week didn’t go that way though. He was Good Friday but Saturday started a week long of “just don’t feel good” and some nausea. Please keep those prayers coming I know they are getting heard. We are very thankful for each and every one of them. I am blessed to be this man’s wife and I thank God everyday for placing him in my life. Everyday is a little challenging but I would do it all over again if needed. He truly is a blessing to me and my family.

He has been so sick for 3 days now. Looks like the chemo kick his butt this week. I wished there was something I could do for him. They have been giving him a steroid before his treatments and they usually last 3 days, not this time he has been sick since Saturday. Please keep those prayers coming! Thanks

Chemo #5! He is in good spirits this morning as always. His back is hurting really bad and he could hardly walk this morning but he is a true fighter. I am truly blessed to call this funny, loving, strong willed man my husband. I love you Babe! God, your doctors, all the people praying and you and me have got this fight and we are going to win!

Chemo went good on Friday. We had a good weekend. Spent sometime at Norwood campground with Chase, Bailey, the kids and Cody. He did good there and Saturday and yesterday. He started hurting pretty bad last night and most of today so far. The pain has eased up some but is still there. We’re thankful he hasn’t been nauseous and throwing up. Thank you all for all the prayers.

Oncologist said today: one complete cycle in and that is good. Going from where he was with nutrition and in and out of the hospital she really thought it would be a worse battle. We don’t know yet if the chemo is working or not. She plans another scan at the 8 week mark. So at the end of the next cycle. He has already been told he needs to be in treatment for at least 2 months before they will see a change. She told him whatever he is doing keep doing it. So please keep those prayers coming they are working by the grace of God. Thank you so much. 💜💜💜💜@
