POV: you find the toy that keeps both kids busy for a full hour 🙌

This squeeze ball maker has been the biggest hit in our house — they fill their own squishy balls with glitter and little charms, then squish them for hours.

Rainy day lifesaver and going straight on the Christmas list 👀

One year after finding skin cancer on my nose, I got a clear skin check today. Praise Jesus 🤍

Last October, what looked like a tiny little pimple turned out to be invasive basal cell carcinoma. I had Mohs surgery that took three passes, followed by skin flap reconstruction with a plastic surgeon the next day.

Today was my second six-month checkup since then, and I’m so grateful to leave with good news. I’ll continue going every six months, but this appointment felt especially meaningful with it being a year since everything started.

I wanted to share this little update because I know how reassuring it can be to talk to someone who’s been through it. If you’re facing something similar, have questions about my experience, or just need someone to talk to, my DMs are open. You don’t have to go through it feeling alone.

I’ll link my reel from last year if you missed the full experience 🤍

Just checking … 😘😘😘

Girl to girl, there’s more to life than hating your body 🤍

I spent years obsessing over five pounds here, a flatter stomach there, fitting into a certain size. And it wasn’t worth the anguish, the time, the energy, or the stress. I could have enjoyed those years so much more if I hadn’t been so busy picking myself apart.

God didn’t give me this body to spend my life criticizing it. He gave it to me to live in. To love people, make memories, and experience the life He’s given me.

I don’t want to waste any more of that gift.

If you’ve been waiting to look a certain way before you let yourself enjoy your life, girl, you’ve waited long enough 🤍

POV: you’re in the big girl bed era 🥹

One minute they’re babies, and the next they’re climbing into their big girl bed insisting, “I do it myself” 🤍

We’ve been using The NEW 360° from for this stage, and they’ve honestly been so good for the toddler independence era. The 360° stretch makes them easy for her to pull up and down herself like real underwear, and the high-volume absorbency actually keeps her dry overnight 🙌

Also love that they’re soft, fragrance-free, and made for sensitive skin ✨

Want to try them too? Use my code MOTIONMELG to get 20% off your first order 🤍

Moms, don’t put off the skin check 🤍

Between pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, work, and taking care of everyone else, I kept putting mine off too. And honestly? The spot didn’t look alarming at all. It looked more like a tiny blemish or pimple than what I thought skin cancer was “supposed” to look like.

It ended up being basal cell carcinoma, the most common form of skin cancer.

Sharing this because May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month, but also because I know how easy it is for moms to keep putting themselves at the bottom of the list. We make the appointments for everyone else first and tell ourselves we’ll get around to ours later.

But skin cancer is the most common cancer in the United States, and 1 in 5 Americans will develop it by age 70.

This is your reminder that your health matters too. If you’ve been ignoring the “weird little spot” or putting off the dermatologist appointment, consider this your sign to book the skin check 🤍
