Katherine is a subtle Yoga trained therapeutic yoga teacher in Charlotte, NC. Through this page you can keep up with the latest workshops and trainings she is offering in the area. Whether you are interested in starting a yoga practice, healing from injury, finding relief for chronic pain or exploring the mind-spirit side of this ancient mind-body-spirit practice, you are in the right place. Katherine currently teaches public classes at On Track Yoga and the Johnston YMCA. She also teaches/assists/holds space around town through Yoga for Action--a fantastic network of social justice yoga warriors. And this year, she's combining her interests in sustainable farming with yoga through Goat Yoga at Wish We Had Acres in the Steele Creek area (http://wishwehadacres.com/). Katherine seeks to offer therapeutic offerings that go beyond just the physical practice of yoga (asana), and extends to breath (pranayama), meditation, and lifestyle. She has studied Ayurveda extensively and is also a level 2 Reiki practitioner and earning a certification in aromatherapy.

Listening to my playlist for Empower Flow at On Track Yoga. I said "reggae and play" with the intention of doing handstand prep and strenghtening poses, but I'm seriously concerned about the class turning into a dancy party.....Okay, not really concerned, more like excited--one way or another, we're gonna turn power flow on its head.
