Behind every certification is a commitment to serving families with excellence.

These aren’t just certificates hanging on a wall, they represent countless hours of learning, growth, and a promise to provide evidence-based, compassionate care to every family I have the privilege of supporting.

I’m proud to have earned my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, my Labor Doula Certification, CPR & First Aid certification, and my CrossFit Level 1 Trainer certification. Each one has equipped me with knowledge that allows me to better educate, advocate for, and support my clients throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

One thing about me? I’ll never stop learning. I believe continuing education is one of the greatest ways I can invest in the families I serve.

I have a long list of certifications I’d love to earn, but this next one is the one I’m especially excited about. My goal is to become certified in prenatal and postpartum exercise so I can confidently support women who want to stay active before conception, throughout pregnancy, and during their postpartum recovery. As someone with a background in Exercise Science, I’m excited to combine my passion for fitness with my passion for maternal health to better serve my clients.

Every course I take and every certification I earn isn’t about collecting credentials, it’s about becoming a better resource, advocate, and support person for the families who trust me during one of the most important seasons of their lives.

My goal has always been simple: to provide the highest quality care by staying educated, informed, and prepared. My clients deserve nothing less.

As my 10-week postpartum contract comes to an end, I’ve found myself reflecting with so much gratitude.

Being welcomed into a family’s home and trusted during such a tender season is something I’ll never take for granted. What made this experience even more special was being seen not just as their doula, but as a person. That kind of relationship is truly a gift.

Watching this sweet boy grow has been such a joy. From those tiny newborn days to now sleeping 6–7 hour stretches with just one feeding, getting wonderfully chunky, and becoming so vocal, it’s been incredible to witness every milestone.

To this amazing family, thank you for trusting me, allowing me to care for your precious baby, and for being such a collaborative team throughout this journey. It has been an honor to walk alongside you during these first 10 weeks. You will always hold a special place in my heart, and I love your family dearly.

What a beautiful birth to begin August!

After an unexpected 2-day induction, this family continued to face every twist and turn with incredible strength, patience, and grace. Mom remained in great spirits, advocated for herself every step of the way, and trusted her instincts throughout her birth journey. Her partner communicated consistently, kept me informed every step of the way, and when they learned a cesarean birth was the safest next step, Dad called to let me know they were ready for in-person support.

I arrived at the hospital at 1:00 AM, helped prepare Mom and Dad for their cesarean birth, and at 3:15 AM, their beautiful baby girl made her grand entrance into the world. ✨

From the parents to the nurses, OB, anesthesia team, and everyone involved, the room was filled with encouragement, calm, and so many good vibes. Their care team was absolutely incredible. This is what collaborative care looks like, everyone working together, communicating effectively, and keeping Mom and Baby at the center of every decision.

Birth doesn’t always unfold the way we envision, but it can still be empowering, beautiful, and filled with love. It was such an honor to support this family through every unexpected turn and witness them meet their precious daughter.

Happy World Breastfeeding Week! 🤎🍼

August 1–7 is a time to celebrate, support, and raise awareness for breastfeeding families.

One of the greatest privileges I have as a birth and postpartum doula isn’t just supporting families through labor, it’s those first precious moments after birth. Those immediate postpartum hours are so special. I get to guide new moms through their very first feeds, help them find comfortable positions, encourage skin-to-skin, and teach them how to achieve a deep, effective latch.

Breastfeeding is natural, but it doesn’t always come naturally. Every mom and every baby are learning together, and having compassionate, hands-on support can make all the difference.

To every breastfeeding, pumping, combination-feeding, and learning mama: you are doing an incredible job. 🥰

Most people think a doula is only there for birth, but that’s just one part of what I do.

At Bump and Bloom Doula Services, I’m your support person throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. From answering questions, making sure you feel prepared, and checking in after appointments to helping you create your birth preferences and supporting your partner, I’m here every step of the way.

A doula doesn’t replace your medical team, we work WITH them to help you feel informed, empowered, and supported.

Every parent deserves to feel like they don’t have to do this alone.

Thank you for believing in me from the very beginning even when Bump and Bloom Doula Services was just an idea. You took the time to talk with me, encourage me, and remind me that I was capable of building something meaningful.
