We’re so excited to share a special project coming to Uptown Veterinary Hospital! 📸🐾

We’re partnering with Racheal Rich | CLT Photographer to photograph some of the amazing pets that make up our Uptown family. These portraits will be used to create the new window vinyl on the front of our hospital, and we want the faces on our building to be our actual patients!

We’re looking for a mix of dogs, cats, and some exotic pets to represent the wonderful variety of patients we care for.

📅 November 7th
📸 10-minute portrait sessions between 1:00–4:00 PM

Space is limited, so signing up does not guarantee a spot. We’ll be selecting a variety of pets for the final window design and will contact selected families with their scheduled arrival time. To allow as many families as possible to participate, we are limiting the event to one pet per family.

We’re also using this project as an opportunity to give back! Participating families are kindly asked to bring a donation for our donation drive for Humane Society of Charlotte , such as pet food, toys, blankets, towels, or other needed supplies.

Uptown Gives Back! 🐾

We’re excited to be collecting donations for the Humane Society of Charlotte now through November 7th!

Our goal is to come together as a community and collect as many much-needed supplies as we can for the pets and families they support.

🌟Donations can be dropped off at Uptown Veterinary Hospital during regular business hours.

🏡Want to help from home? We’ve also created an Amazon Wish List with requested items that can be shipped directly to our hospital. Send us a DM and we’ll send you the link!

The Humane Society of Charlotte has shared their current needs with us:

• Dry dog & cat kibble — any brand
• Fancy Feast Pâté — chicken, beef or turkey
• Cat litter
• Paper towels
• Liquid bleach
• Dishwasher & liquid laundry detergent
• Tall & 55-gallon trash bags
• Martingale-style dog collars
• Nitrile exam gloves — all sizes
• New or gently used dog & cat toys
• Dog & cat treats — Nudges, Pupperoni & training treats are especially helpful
• Creamy peanut butter — no xylitol
• Kongs & other indestructible toys
• New or gently used pet crates & carriers
• Waterproof pet blankets
• Small towels & washcloths
• Small blankets — twin size or smaller, fleece preferred
• Flat bed sheets — not fitted
• Puppy p*e pads
• Pet beds
• Unexpired heartworm, flea & tick prevention

Whether you donate one toy, a bag of food or a whole box of supplies, every donation makes a difference.

Laura is the kind of leader every team is lucky to have. She has incredible technical skills, and she’s the person everyone turns to when they need help, guidance, or just a little extra support.
