There’s something I wish more people understood:

When parents give their teens access to therapy and coaching, those teens often take it very seriously.

They show up early.
They engage deeply.
They care about doing the work.

Meanwhile, many adults—who now recognize the value—sometimes struggle to prioritize it consistently.

Here’s the part that really stays with me:

A number of my adult clients are people I first worked with as teenagers. And the difference is clear—they learned early how to check in with themselves, how to process, how to take ownership of their mental health.

That doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because someone gave them the chance.

Teens are often more invested in their future than we give them credit for. They’re not “too young” to benefit from therapy—they may be the most ready.

If you’re a parent, guardian, or caregiver: giving your teen access to support isn’t just about today. It’s equipping them with skills they’ll carry for life.

And it shows.

There’s a common misconception that therapy is only for people in crisis. In reality, therapy can be one of the most practical and empowering tools for anyone who wants to better understand themselves, improve relationships, and feel more in control of their life.

May 1st — Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

There’s a quiet kind of power in starting over… especially after something that tried to break you.

Thriving after a toxic relationship isn’t loud at first. It’s subtle. It looks like choosing peace over chaos. It feels like taking a deep breath without fear. It sounds like your own voice coming back after being silenced for so long.

Healing is not about pretending it didn’t hurt. It’s about honoring the fact that it did—and choosing yourself anyway.

You begin to notice the beauty in small things again:
✨ Laughing without guilt
✨ Setting boundaries without apology
✨ Feeling safe in your own thoughts

That’s not “moving on.” That’s reclaiming your life.

Toxic love may have taught you what pain feels like—but healing will teach you what you truly deserve.

And the truth is… you didn’t just survive it.

You grew beyond it.

This month, let your healing be seen. Let your story breathe. And most importantly, let yourself thrive. 🌱

When people hear the phrase domestic violence, they often picture physical harm—bruises, broken bones, or visible injuries. But that definition is incomplete. Domestic violence is about power and control, and it doesn’t require physical force to leave lasting damage.

Narcissistic abuse falls squarely within that definition.
