Too often we obsess over that number.

Imagine getting stronger, sleeping better, having more energy, feeling happier, and STILL thinking you’re failing because the scale hasn’t moved.

Girl. WHAT ARE WE DOING? 😂

I get it. I’ve been there.

We’ve been taught to measure our success by how much smaller we can make ourselves.

Meanwhile, we’re completely overlooking all the ways our lives are getting BETTER.

I’m not saying weight loss can’t be a goal.

I’m saying it shouldn’t be the only thing you’re allowed to celebrate.

Give yourself some freaking credit for the work you’re putting in. 💗 IM SO FREAKIN’ PROUD OF YOUUUUUU!!!

Sometimes words are hard. 🤣🤣🤣

Yoga has a funny way of making you feel deeply connected to your body and completely confused by basic directions at the exact same time. 😂

One minute you’re breathing, grounding, and feeling very present.
The next, the teacher says “left leg forward” and somehow both legs have become suspicious.

A little humility is part of the practice too.
