Happy Wednesday from Memory Care Unit. It has been a busy day. We did things a little backwards today. Our patio time was in the morning because of the hot weather.

Important information for THIS Wednesday:

We want to make our patients, community, and partners aware of a planned telephone system upgrade taking place on Wednesday, July 8, between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. EST.

During this time, Cherokee Indian Hospital Authority will be transferring our phone numbers to a new telecommunications provider. This proactive upgrade is part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring our phone system remains dependable, resilient, and available when our patients need us most.

As a healthcare organization, reliable communication is essential. This change is being made to strengthen the reliability and redundancy of our phone services, helping us better serve our community now and in the future.

During the scheduled two-hour transition window, callers may experience intermittent disruptions. Phone lines may temporarily go in and out of service, callers may occasionally receive a busy signal, and some outbound calls may also be affected while the transfer is completed.

Our Information Technology team and telecommunications partners will be closely monitoring the transition to minimize any disruption and restore full service as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your patience as we continue investing in the infrastructure that helps us provide safe, reliable care to our community.
