We’re often quick to label something as a flaw.

But what if we got curious before we tried to fix it?

Understanding how a pattern developed may change the way we work with it.

That critical voice can sound so convincing.

But confidence in a thought doesn't make it accurate.

What might change if you treated your inner critic's words as something to examine and be curious about rather than automatically believe?

Sometimes “this is just who I am” may really mean “this is what I learned.”

And those aren’t necessarily the same thing.

What have you discovered about yourself that turned out to be learned rather than simply “you”?

In some areas of my life this took me a long time to realize. I had to really 'notice'. For me journalling helped me.

Familiarity isn't proof.

Some beliefs become so familiar that we stop questioning them.
But just because you've believed something for years doesn't mean it's necessarily true.
What belief might be worth looking at with fresh eyes?

A little experiment: Think of one belief you hold about yourself. Ask, "How do I know this is true? And what evidence might suggest otherwise?"

An invitation to challenge assumptions we rarely stop to examine.

I’ve been spending a lot of time lately reading, researching, and writing about something that fascinates me.

We often say things like, “I’ve always been this way,” as though the fact that something has been with us for a long time means it must be part of who we are.

But what if some of what we call personality or just who I am is actually the result of things our brains learned through experience?

And if the brain learned them, what does neuroscience tell us about whether they can change?

I’m finding myself increasingly fascinated by that question.
It’s taking my writing in an interesting direction. 🙂.

Your brain learns from repetition. Even when the lesson isn't helpful.

Repeated thoughts and experiences can strengthen familiar patterns.
The encouraging part? Our brains retain the capacity to learn throughout life.

Noticing a pattern can be a first step toward practicing something different.

Thank you for imagining a little less and a little more with me these past 24 days. 💛

And that's a wrap on our Less / More series. 💛

Thank you for following along, reflecting, and engaging.

Sometimes a small shift in perspective is where meaningful change begins.

Tomorrow, we'll continue exploring those small shifts, one thought at a time.

Day 24: A Little Less. A Little More. — a Belief Redesign™ series exploring the shifts that can become possible when we work with the beliefs and learned patterns underneath how we think, feel, and respond.

For our final day, imagine a little less feeling stuck. And a little more possibility.

Sometimes a pattern has been with us for so long that it can begin to feel like simply who we are.

I'm just an overthinker.

I've always been hard on myself.

I don't trust myself.

This is just how I react.

I've tried to change this before.

When something has become familiar and automatic, it can be difficult to imagine experiencing ourselves any other way.

But familiar doesn't necessarily mean permanent.

That's at the heart of the work I do through Belief Redesign™.

We get curious about the beliefs, emotional learning, and experiences underneath the patterns that keep showing up—and use neuroscience-informed and experiential approaches to work with what's keeping those patterns active.

Not just understanding the pattern.

Working with it.

And creating opportunities for your brain to learn and practice something different.

Possibility doesn't mean promising that everything will change.

It can begin much more simply:

Maybe this isn't the only way I can feel.

Maybe this isn't the only response available to me.

Maybe something different can become possible.

A little less feeling stuck.
A little more possibility.

Imagine what that might feel like. 💛

And if you've followed these 24 days and found yourself thinking, I want some of this for me, perhaps that's worth getting curious about.

I work privately with clients through 1:1 Belief Redesign™ coaching, where we can explore your patterns, your beliefs, and what may be keeping them active—and work with them in a way that's individualized to you.

If you'd like to explore whether working together might be a good fit, you can schedule a complimentary Let's Talk call through the link in my bio.

Thank you for imagining a little less and a little more with me these past 24 days. 💛

🧰 Belief Redesign™ Toolbox | Colorful Serenity
Not every moment calls for the same tool.

Sometimes you need to understand your brain.

Sometimes you need a journal.

And sometimes...

You simply need permission to slow down.

Colorful Serenity: Embracing Change Through Art and Affirmation was created for those moments when your mind feels full, your nervous system feels overwhelmed, and thinking harder isn't helping.

And it isn't just a coloring book.

It's part coloring book, part mindfulness journal, and part gentle self-reflection practice.

Inside you'll find:

🎨 Black-and-white designs that invite creativity and focused attention
💛 Encouraging affirmations and mantras
🌿 Empowering questions that invite you to consider something different
✍️ Gentle journaling and reflection prompts for self-discovery and self-acceptance

The idea is simple: give yourself a place to slow down, focus your attention, reflect, and practice a different kind of conversation with yourself.

Activities like coloring can offer a gentle way to bring attention into the present moment. And the questions, affirmations, and reflection practices invite you to notice the thoughts and beliefs you're carrying—and consider what else you might want to practice instead.

That's why Colorful Serenity belongs in the Belief Redesign™ Toolbox.

Sometimes working with ourselves looks like deeper exploration.

And sometimes it looks like sitting down with a colored pencil, a question, and a few quiet minutes to yourself.

You don't have to make every moment of growth hard work.

Sometimes a small moment of creativity, curiosity, or calm is enough for today.

🎨 Colorful Serenity is available on Amazon.

Because redesigning your beliefs doesn't always begin with thinking harder...

Sometimes it begins with slowing down enough to notice. 💛
