Which highway you taking — I-55 or I-57? 🤔

I-55 will get you there… but let’s be honest, it’s BORING. Just road and more road.

Now I-57? That’s a whole different vibe — outlets, restaurants, places to stop and actually enjoy the ride.

I’m choosing I-57 every time. I like options, snacks, and a little life on my drive 😌

What y’all riding on?

Women’s History Month & National Funeral Director and Mortician Day

As I celebrate Women’s History Month and National Funeral Director and Mortician Day, I reflect on my journey as a first-generation Funeral Director in my family. Nine years ago, I stepped out on faith and opened Sacred Memories Funeral Home on the South Side of Chicago.

With Regina by my side as a brilliant Restorative Artist and Funeral Director, we are leaving our mark in both. Together, we are not just serving families we are setting a standard of excellence, compassion, and integrity in the funeral industry.

Being women in this profession comes with challenges, but it has also been a journey of purpose, resilience, and unwavering dedication. We stand proud in this field, paving the way for future generations and proving that leadership, strength, and service have no limits.

Here’s to the women who came before us, the women making history now, and those who will continue to break barriers in the future!
