Has your child ever told you they feel like everyone has a friend group except them? 💛

It’s hard to hear, especially when your first instinct is to fix it. Sometimes, the best place to start is simply listening, validating how they feel, and helping them focus on one meaningful connection at a time.

Not sure how to support your child through friendship struggles? IFC Parent Coaching can help.

Parenting is full of these moments. ✌️✊

Wanting to fix everything or get all the details comes from curiosity and love, but sometimes the most supportive thing we can do is pause, listen, and give our kids and teens a little space. 💛

Do you supervise therapists or clinical trainees? This training is for you. 💬

Join Ruth Mills, LCSW, and TEOC Training Institute for Experiential Supervision, a hands-on training focused on strengthening the way you guide and support clinicians.

Through live demonstrations, role-play, and group reflection, you’ll practice navigating supervisory relationships and explore how patterns between a therapist and client can also show up in supervision, a concept called “parallel process.”

Is your child in a bad mood after school and not really interested in talking? 💭

After a long school day, some kids need time to decompress before they’re ready to open up. Giving them space first, then reconnecting with a simple, specific question later can make conversation feel easier and less pressured. 💛

Earlier this year, we launched the IFC Provider Hub with a simple goal: to bring together independent providers who share our commitment to supporting children and families.

The Provider Hub gives professionals a home base for their independent practices while creating opportunities for connection, collaboration, and referrals within the broader IFC community.

And we’re excited to welcome our newest Provider Hub member, Kate Cicchelli, Ed.D.! 👏

Kate is an educator, certified coach, school advocate, and parent coach with more than 25 years of experience in education. Through her independent practice, Between Home and School, she offers executive-function coaching, parent coaching, educational advocacy, and support navigating school needs and home-school collaboration.

Kate’s relationship-centered approach is a wonderful addition to the community we’re building.

Welcome to the IFC Provider Hub, Kate! 💛
