As I get to know this new community, I would love to introduce myself! I am Dr. Lauren Weber Wolf, a doctor of social work and licensed clinical social worker. I reside in Chicago and launched my consulting business this summer, '25. Last year I finished my doctorate degree and shortly after, my family needed my support in the domains of health & disability, medical care, in-home services, patient advocacy, crisis intervention, local resources, care planning, aging life care management, legal, hospice, executor duties, funeral planning, financial planning, grief & loss, estate selling, relocation, cross-country moving, medical care coordination, and adjustments. It was all the things, all at once, and in a very condensed timeframe. And I knew what to do or who to call next throughout the journey. After taking some time to process these realities and care for myself, I felt a deep desire to support other adult children, siblings, those in the sandwich generation, spouses, and loved ones facing the same realities near or far. I began practicing music and mindfulness more to reflect and prepare for A Calmer Journey. I am now available to serve as a consultant in your journey. So, what about you?
