Lavender, Yarrow, and more from my own yard......beautiful harvest. Remember to thank your plants for thier harvest and never take more than you need. 🚨 DOMESTIC VIOLENCE DOESN’T ALWAYS LEAVE A BRUISE. 🚨
Domestic violence can come in many forms.
It can be physical.
It can be emotional.
It can be verbal.
It can be sexual.
It can be financial.
It can be psychological.
It can be digital.
It can be coercive control.
It can be isolation, intimidation, threats, manipulation, and gaslighting.
Sometimes it looks like someone checking your phone.
Sometimes it looks like controlling your money.
Sometimes it sounds like, “If you leave, you’ll regret it.”
Sometimes it’s making you believe everything is your fault.
And sometimes the person hurting you never puts their hands on you.
Abuse is still abuse when there are no fingerprints.
Stop asking, “Why don’t they just leave?”
Start asking, “What has this person been doing to make leaving feel impossible?”
Because surviving abuse isn't weakness.
Staying alive isn't weakness.
And rebuilding your life after someone tried to break you?
THAT is strength.
Know the signs. Believe people when they tell you what is happening. And remember:
