🌾 EMPLOYEE OF THE WEEK 🌾

Meet one of the sweetest members of our little farm family... Speckles! ❤️🐔

If there's a person outside, she's the first one running to the gate to say hello. She absolutely lives for pets, mealworms, and being wherever the people are. I'm pretty sure she's a hen... although every now and then she has me second-guessing myself. 😂

She's proof that chickens have personalities every bit as big as dogs.

🐣 Farm Journal: Rookie Mistakes

Lesson #1 🤦‍♀️

When I started this little farm adventure, I thought I had done enough research.

Turns out... the animals had other plans. 😂

I've already learned some lessons the hard way (and I'm sure there are plenty more coming!).

As our little homestead continues to grow, I'm realizing I need a better way to keep track of everyone! 😅

What do you use?

📱 What's the best flock management app? 📊 Do you prefer a spreadsheet? 📓 Or are you old school with a notebook and pen?
