Harvest time in October seems fitting for acknowledging National Farmer’s Day on October 12th. A day to praise and pay tribute to the hard-working farmers, who put food in the grocery stores and on our tables every day. Farming is one of the oldest jobs around, the profession of farming began around 12,000 years ago with the domestication of livestock, as hunters settled down and started to plant their own food.
