Your nervous system won’t change by accident.

Every day isn’t going to feel peaceful. Some days meditation feels effortless, and other days your mind wants to run in every direction. The practice isn’t about being perfect, it’s about showing up anyway. That’s how trust, peace, and faith are built over time.

It’s a daily practice of remembering that the power has never left you.

You don’t have to feed fear to feel better. The relief it offers is only temporary, and every time you indulge it, you reinforce the illusion that it was protecting you.

Choosing not to believe the ego can feel brutal at first, only because its arguments seem convincing. It knows exactly how to make fear sound reasonable.

But fear is not the truth.

The more you choose love over fear, the easier it becomes to recognize the ego’s voice for what it is: persuasive, but never the final authority.

Truth doesn’t need to argue. It simply waits for you to remember it.

The options for change are limitless.

When a great enough experience of uncomfortability/pain is felt and we seemingly have no way out; we start looking for answers. We open ourselves to options we were too comfortable/complacent to entertain before.

The decision to change direction/action is more powerful than the action itself. Once you say to yourself “I can’t do that to myself anymore” it’s over. Stagnation, pain, pressure, and guilt tend to melt away the more you think of the choice you’ve made and the action you take on that choice is inevitable.

This is a sign that we all, at least subconsciously, know that change is coming. We’re just trying to get through the transition as best we can.

Spirituality is freedom

There is no right or wrong to practicing spirituality. Simply feeling connected to your inner being or to another person is spirituality.

Sometimes religion can make people feel a sense of stability, but it will be restrictive to a degree. This doesn’t make it wrong, it’s simply a choice.
Personally, I find spirituality more satisfying because it gives me the freedom to continue to find my truth and that will change as I grow on my spiritual path.

Incorporating parts of faith that have given me comfort in my life is a magnificent freedom that get to enjoy without restriction I once experienced. This is my choice. I try to respect others choices as well even if I don’t agree. It doesn’t mean that I am wrong and it doesn’t mean that they are wrong.

I think that depends on your definition of the word. 🤪

Sometimes I think having awareness of this complete paradigm shift in humanity is comforting because I don’t have as much confusion as I would had I not known.

However, knowing what’s happening creates a responsibility to choose. Each day I have the choice to give into the fear of the future or remember the truth of my divinity and inherent support within.

Some days I can be peaceful and happy and others… I’m just getting through it. Like we all are.

We don’t need to suffer.

The hardest thing I’ve had to learn in my life is that stability doesn’t come from outside of you. It comes from the inherent divinity within each of us. The small still voice that will forever be there consistently with the same messages and the same tone.

We are worthy just because. We are loved unconditionally just because. We are supported just because.

Searching for that outside of yourself will usually lead to disappointment and anxiety.

Even knowing that doesn’t prevent us from doing it. It’s ingrained in us from infancy to seek stability and the worthiness of that stability outside of ourselves.

Failure is inevitable but will serve as our greatest teacher as long as we commit to never give up.
