Great news Things are evolving for California massage therapists. We are now officially recognized as Healthcare Providers in the state of California.

BREAKING: Massage therapists are officially recognized as health care providers in California! 💥💆‍♂️💚

Starting January 1, 2026, CAMTC-certified massage therapists will be legally recognized as healthcare providers!

This is a major step forward for our field, our students, and the communities we serve.

🎉 Huge congrats to all CAMTC certificate holders and to everyone who advocated for this historic win!

Had to check out the world’s largest independent bookstore- the city of books. 4 stories, and a full city block worth of books, some rare books, and a cute little coffee shop inside because…coffee and Portland. 📚 ☕️

I found it! And I got in! 😂 Tell me if you’ve heard of this. There’s a whimsical little frozen custard place in Portland with a secret speak easy coffee shop with a secret hidden entrance. The kicker is they won’t tell you where the entrance is. You have to find it yourself and you can’t get in unless you know the password that changes periodically. Got me the iced orange blossom latte 😋

Bonus of taking an early flight, I got to walk the city a bit and found Republica. Had some lunch, my first Tepache and a bougie little scoop of blackberry and goat cheese ice cream. 😋
