We're going to dive into directions more. This video will offer more insight to either listening for directions in class, or maybe you teach French Yoga and you're curious as to what vocabulary I have used in my classes. Over time, I've taken various classes via Zoom, live, and recorded French yoga classes on YouTube. Each teacher has their own way of describing how to flow through movements.

NOTICE: I'm not a language teacher, but a yoga teacher on a language journey. These videos are for entertainment and to keep myself accountable with my studies.

Let's talk directions used in French yoga classes. They're important to know so you or the students know which way their body is moving or placing a hand, foot, etc.

NOTICE: I'm not a language teacher. I'm a yoga teacher on a journey to teach classes in French regulary and these posts keep me accountable for my studies!

From memory this is PART 2 of some body parts you'll hear in a yoga class guided in French.

NOTICE: This and other videos posted are here to entertain as I am on a language learning journey so I can one day (again) guide classes in French. I'm NOT a language teacher, but a certified yoga teacher with a French OBSESSION 😁

Let's get to it! I'm kicking off the practice with some vocabulary that's used in yoga classes - THE BODY PARTS - Part 1 of 2

Learning the body parts is French is a MUST whether you're a student or teacher. Different parts will be directed to move, described, or mentioned upon the teacher offering suggestions or adaptions.

NOTICE: I'm not a language teacher, but a yoga teacher sharing her journey of learning new skills to guide classes in French in the future!

Picking up where I left off -- I built a course! 📚 It's a beginner Learn Yoga In French course. It manifested when I taught yoga in french classes via Zoom. These classes went on for about 3 years. It was a great time to meet new people, discuss our language and/or wellness paths and reasoning why we wanted to learn yoga in French. Many folks joined to practice listening skills.

The experience was really cool. There was just a lot of "filler" words I missed. A HUGE reason why I want to pick up where I leaft off and review the vocab in my course. To practice connection words - the, it, about, mean, which, attach, bring, there, upward, forward, take, etc and etc..

Check out the course yourself and let me know what you think. 💡

Do you remember Reading Blaster? 🚇

I was OBSESSED with it! I'd play it as much as I could until I got older and extracurricular actitivies took over (track, year book, high stepping, dance). I looked for something like this to help me learn French. (I still do.) Never found anything.

Are you a gamer? What game(s) help you with your language learning? Actual games though, not language learning apps like Babbel, Drops, or Duolingo.

Not 100% how this going to look -

As I mentioned in the last video "Record Keeping", I have no idea how this process will look. It will be an unraveling of my brain. How my brain works, figures stuff out, and builds a new process for studying.

Record keeping can change, but it'll be cool to have you roll with me on this, and hopefully pick up something useful for yourself too.

Stay tuned! 😄🙌

What do I mean by keeping record of learning yoga in French❓❔❓

This process is will look different and figure itself out. There's going to be trial and error.

No matter what, if I'm learning and able to share the process with you--- FABULOUS! It's about staying on topic, learning new vocabulary, making mistakes, sharing my progress, and guiding short classes in FR.

Ebb and flow with me.
