I am challenging you this weekend to spend some time in quiet. this can be while you are out for a walk, doing chores like laundry, dishes or yard work. It could be with a morning coffee or evening before bed. Spend 5 minutes or so with quiet. Focus on your breath, when thoughts come in just say thought and go back to your breath. If you haven't done this before, count your breaths, when you lose count go back to 1 and count. If you learn this skill when you feel good and are calm, you can calm your racing thoughts when they spiral. Hi friends, remember me? It's Josie, but now I go by Elli. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I've found myself without a home and family again. I love cuddles and walkies and prefer to be the only pet in my house. I love respectful kids, but please, make sure they're old enough to understand that I like my boundaries too. I may be around 9 in years, but act like a puppy when it's playtime! Can someone please help me find my furever home?

Let's decide to be happy today!! When I say that I don't mean that you are choosing to not be happy. But if you take some time, calm your mind, and then decide that you are going to have an intention to be happy - Allow yourself to look for the good and the joy in your day. You can find something that brings you joy, even if it is small it is a place to start. Just keep reaching for the joy, one smile at time, if you need help, I can help.

There are many stories of success, this is a good one because we forget how hard people work when we only get to see the finished product. There are probably more stories of people who quit before they could find success. You only fail when you stop trying. what if the next time is the one that does it, but you walk away before that.
Never stop trying, never stop improving.
