Cleveland, I want to invite you to this! 🎤,l🔥

On Friday, September 11, we’re bringing together poetry, creativity, public health, and community for the NO Menthol Poetry Contest.

This isn’t just a poetry competition. It’s an opportunity to use art to spark a conversation about menthol, to***co, health, and the to***co industry’s impact on our communities.

We’ll feature incredible poets on stage, cash prizes, community resources, and a message that matters.

On April 29, 1988, Rev. Jesse Jackson came to Cleveland, then to Outhwaite Projects, and then to the daycare where my cousins Teairra, Mike Mike, Tino, and I went. He picked me up and sat me with him. All you see is my hand and head with hair. My cousins are shaking Rev. Jesse Jackson's hand, sitting next to him, and hiding in the back on the right.
