I celebrate every kids first year here with a Shutterfly book if they start as an infant. Scottie and Navy’s books were just finished and given to their parents, that makes 10 books total that have been made.
It’s one of my favorite things to do. 📙🧡🫶🏻
I enjoy taking pictures all year and then taking my time throughout the year to edit the perfect little book. (sometimes I edit so much that I overlook mistakes or forget to add something and then I’m so darn mad when the book is ordered and I can’t fix it, i’ve even accidentally erased a book and had to start all over)🥺
It’s still one of my favorite gifts to give!🩷

Me- “What is it?”
Wrenley- (with a hilarious look on her face) “It’s p**p, come see”
I go in and apparently someone dug out a wrapper with chocolate on it from out of the garbage🤦🏻‍♀️
Me- “Well I wonder who did this?”
Wrenley- (with hands on her hips) “Oliver!”
Me- “No, it’s not p**p it’s an ice cream sandwich”
Wrenley- “Oh, Oliver had an ice cream sandwhich?”

PLEASE READ: As we enter into a new month, I would like to take a minute and ask for your help. At the library, I am committed to creating an atmosphere of community. That said, it can be difficult to plan events when we don’t know how many folks might attend. Some of the things we are trying to provide include speakers, or presenters, supplies, preparation by our staff. We need your help! We kindly ask that when an event looks like fun, and it has an asterisk by it on our calendar, please RSVP. If you do let us know that you’ll be there, and then something comes up, please cancel your reservation, either online or by calling. We now have waiting lists for some of our more popular programs and with limited space and supplies, it would be so nice to be able to allow others the opportunity to join in your absence. I hope this makes sense. Please feel free to call or comment below with any questions.
