The moment everything changed.

In 2020, everything I had built was washed away overnight.

My wellness practice was deemed non-essential. I closed the doors to Healing Touch Beauty & Wellness and walked away from hundreds of clients who needed me. I fell to my knees in the dark, hot tears running down my face, crying out , "Creator help me please, I don't know what I am supposed to do!"

I had never felt so helpless and devasted in my life.

But one night while dancing, something shifted.

For the first time in years my body felt free. My mind opened up. And I realized this pause wasn't happening TO me, it was happening FOR me.

If it wasn't for the whole world pausing, I wouldn't have realized how burned out I had become over years of being in survival mode.

I decided to stop the panic and pivot. Invested in my own transformation. Emerged as a Certified Transformation Hypnotist and Mind-Body Therapist and Essential Healing Works was built entirely from scratch, from a place of surrender.

That decision changed everything. And it is why I show up every single day for the women and men that I serve.

Why I care so much...

In 2020, I closed the doors to my dream practice Healing Touch Beauty & Wellness in Mesa, AZ overnight.

No warning. No plan. Just came back from a Spring Break vacation to a government shut down on all "Non Essential Workers". Hundreds of clients I could no longer reach — people who relied on me to ease their physical pain, soothe their nervous systems, and find moments of peace in the middle of a crisis.

I felt helpless, scared and honestly devastated.

But that loss cracked something open in me. It forced me to go deeper than I had ever gone — into the subconscious roots of pain, into the emotional burdens women carry silently for years, into the healing that goes far beyond what hands on a body can do. Essential Healing Works was born!

That is why I care so much. Because I have been in the dark. And I found a way through. Many, many times. Through Loss of a loved one, loss of career, and even the empty nest all within a short amount of time!
