Yesterday was a tough day for a wonderful woman in hospice who receives gentle massage with Jess.

During the massage she shared that she’s afraid she’ll remain in skilled nursing for the remainder of her days.

Raw emotion comes out at times during sessions and sometimes we don’t know what to say. Especially during major transitions that we may not be able to relate to.

We listen.

We provide gentle touch.

We breathe together.

We allow space to process in whatever way is necessary for the human that is struggling in front of us.

We care deeply and provide healing.
