Happy Acne Awareness Month Besties!

Real talk, I know what it’s like to wake up pi**ed off because the possibility of clear skin seems so out of reach.

I know what it’s like to be embarrassed in public. To contemplate going to the event, party or just out with friends. I’ve experienced the frustration and lack of confidence. The hyper-fixation, the picking and the constant photos hoping to see a difference the next day after exhausting so much effort. I see you, I understand you and I’ve been exactly where you are.

But girl to girl there is a light at the end of the tunnel. You get your spark back, you eventually leave the house without any makeup on. The scarring heals and the anxiety isn’t so loud. Keep going, no matter what form of acne you’re experiencing just know it doesn’t define you. This month we’re celebrating because mind you WE are the main characters not the acne đŸ€Ž

We got you covered this summer with body sunscreens!

Bask SPF 50 is non-aerosol and reef friendly. No white cast and it’s not greasy. It dries down quickly and has vitamin E that leaves my skin soft. There is also no lingering sunscreen smell. Notes of Banana, Bergamot, Lavender and Carmel. *ACNE SAFE*

PoolBar London spf 30: Features vitamin C and E to neutralize free radicals, Aloe Vera and the green tea extract soften and hydrate the skin. It does feature coconut extract so not body acne friendly if that’s a trigger. Coconut and vanilla notes

Your still struggling with hyperpigmention after you’ve “tried” everything in the book. There is a reason it’s not lifting.

1. You haven’t controlled the inflammation without interrupting your cells communication

2. You’re inconsistent with your product usage. You do your morning routine but the PM routine is touch and go. You run out of a product and decide to replace it with a drug store alternative not understanding formulation matters.

3. You literally don’t wear sunscreen. In your mind you’re not outside enough so you don’t wear it. You don’t reapply it and this alone will hinder your results
