🐾 Featured with one of our patients’ Emotional Support Animals (ESA)

Emotional Support Animals can provide comfort, companionship, and emotional support for individuals living with mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other emotional challenges. While ESAs are not service animals and do not perform specific trained tasks, their presence can help reduce stress, improve emotional well-being, and provide a sense of stability during difficult times.

At Core Psychiatry, we recognize that treatment looks different for everyone. For some individuals, an ESA may be one component of a comprehensive treatment plan that also includes therapy, medication management, healthy lifestyle habits, and strong social support.

Mental health care is never one-size-fits-all—and sometimes support comes with four paws and a wagging tail. 💜

A valuable resource for this area

Today at 10:00 AM, we cut the ribbon on the Children & Youth Wellness Center.

The first dedicated pediatric crisis stabilization facility in West Tennessee. A 15-bed home for individualized, trauma-informed crisis care for kids ages 4 to 17.

Thank you to TN Commissioner Marie Williams, our state and county partners, The Alliance Foundation, and every family who has been waiting for this.
