There is no single “right” reason to have an abortion.

People have abortions for countless reasons. Because they aren't ready, because they’re already parenting, because of their health, because of finances, because of their relationships, because of their future, or simply because they don’t want to be pregnant.

Every reason is enough. Every person deserves compassion, support, and the freedom to make their own decision.

Every abortion story matters.

Your story doesn’t have to be tragic, complicated, or dramatic to be worth telling. You are not required to experience pain in order to “earn” access to an abortion. Abortion care doesn’t have to be centered in suffering. Being able to access an abortion can bring relief, a sense of control, and even joy.

Those stories matter, too.
