There’s no me without you. Seriously.

Where do I even start. Yoga is what brought us together. I remember walking into my cohort 2 months pregnant wondering how I was going to manage and greeted with so much love. I was so held, supported and seen in such a way that I knew my life would change forever. Not only did I get through it but I was exposed and accepted into an extended family like no other.

You’re my teacher, dear friend, a soul so sweet, so giving, so understanding, no words can express how I feel about you and how you’ve affected my life.

SUNDAYS!!!

This month we’ve been practicing the principle Pratyahara, it involves disengaging our mind from external disturbances and controlling our reaction to them.

It's normal for the mind to wander, especially if you are thinking about whether you're doing a pose correctly. Practice by taking the energy you're using to “think” about how your handling the pose and turn that energy inward to concentrate on the pose itself.

This Sunday I’ll lead another yoga nidra practice for us to experience the benefits. Our senses will detect external stimulation but try your best to not allow them to disrupt your state of mind. Pratyahara is the foundation for meditation (next month).
