Phew. What a summer it has been! I had the pleasure of joining some amazing herbalists at the American Herbalist Guild symposium last weekend in Black Mountain, NC. It was amazing and rich with information!! I had the chance to reconnect with previous teachers and establish new relationships with others. It has been almost 6 years since my last herbal gathering attendance. (Too long!) This was a special opportunity and I am grateful for the experience and sharing this weekend with one of my herbal besties, Era Pope!! Era is a TCM practitioner and acupuncturist. It was great to talk with her about modalities and constitutions while diving and walking around the campus. And just geeking out all things plants and herbs. It was also reassuring to confirm that I am on the right path. Most of you probably don’t know but I am currently in the process of becoming a Clinical herbalist along with collecting my clinical hours for IBCLC!!
I came back last weekend with a brain stuffed full of ideas and information that I hope to share with my community. My brain is still processing it all… LOL.
When you hire Sadie and I as your support team, you’re getting a lot more than pre-natal, birth, and postpartum support. We bring all of our skills to the table. I am alway excited to share my passion of herbal knowledge and breastfeeding to the families we support! ❤️

I saw my first mama bear with her babies in the wild. Lots of beautiful nooks that I wanted so badly to explore.
