Death is not something to avoid talking about. It’s hard, it’s sad, it sucks, but it’s part of life and everyone deserves to talk about how scary it is ❤️

This is IMPORTANT. It pretty accurately describes how death works. It is natural. This made me giggle because this is how I am educating people on death, but it’s so important to listen to it. We should talk about it openly. THESE types of discussions are why someone like a death doula is important. We can have these talks openly and honestly.

Everyone is curious about death until it’s time to plan for their own and I find that fascinating. They don’t want to talk about it, even after being asked.

Plan for your death and tell your loved ones in no uncertain terms what you want and who gets what.

Have a will in place. Have a final wishes book ready to go at all times.

We can never plan when we die, but we can plan for when we do.
