Well… THIS was a pretty exciting list to find my name on! 🥹🎉

I’m incredibly honored to be ranked #2 in Compliance, Safety & Risk in the 2026 Dental Speaker Index from Speaking Consulting Network- SCN!

What makes this one meaningful is how the list was created. It isn’t based on nominations or votes. The Index looks at speakers selected to teach across dentistry’s major continuing education meetings throughout the year.

Apparently, spending my years talking about OSHA, infection control, workplace safety, and all things compliance has paid off. 😂

And I couldn’t ask to be surrounded by better company!
Big congratulations to Amanda Cole Hill for taking the #1 spot! 👏

And congratulations to Tija Bloyd Hunter, Amy Wood, Kandice Swarthout, and all of the incredible professionals recognized on this list.

I’m grateful for every organization that has invited me to speak, every team that has trusted me with training, and every person who has sat in one of my sessions and left thinking about safety a little differently.

Thank you Speaking Consulting Network- SCN for including me among the Top Compliance & Safety Speakers in Dentistry in the 2026 Dental Speaker Index. 💛

Here’s to continuing to make safety education something people actually WANT to listen to. 🎤

St. Charles, I’ll see you THIS October! 👋

I’m speaking at the MPCA Annual Conference, October 22 and 23, 2026, at the St. Charles Convention Center in Missouri.

My session, “You Need to Calm Down: Workplace Violence. De escalation Policies and Procedures,” asks a question that goes well beyond what any one employee says in a difficult moment: Has your organization given your team a clear plan?

WHAT we’ll talk about: If behavior escalates, who steps in? How does someone report what happened? What training has the team received? And can leaders see the patterns that might tell them a change is needed?

WHY you should attend: I’ll walk through the four types of workplace violence and a practical way to examine your policies, procedures, training, and documentation. This is a conversation for executives, providers, quality professionals, and operational leaders across medical, dental, and behavioral health settings.

And if you’re making the trip, save a little time for Historic Main Street and the riverfront. I plan to enjoy St. Charles while I’m there for sure! 🍂

The leaves are changing, but are you changing up your docs and records too?

Let me ask you: when was the last time you checked whether your safety routines are actually working? Like that waterline check you keep thinking about but not actually doing.

Could your team reach and use the eyewash station if they needed it today? Does your newest team member know where to find safety supplies or who to go to with a concern?

You don’t need to wait until January to ask these questions. Pick one at your next team meeting and see where the conversation takes you. You might find a small gap you can fix now, before it becomes a much bigger issue!

P.S. follow ProEdge Dental Compliance Labs for waterline safety education and information, they’re THE BEST in the biz!

Which one would you check first? 👇Comment below and ask me any questions to answer in upcoming Q&A about these topics!

The #1 reason OSHA gets called? An employee doesn’t feel HEARD! 👀

Someone on your team brings up a safety concern. Maybe they’ve mentioned it before. Maybe they’re nervous to say anything at all. What happens when they finally come to you?

Do you listen and ask questions? Do you follow up? Or do they walk away feeling like their concern was brushed aside?

I know it can be uncomfortable to hear that something in your practice needs attention. But when an employee speaks up, they’re giving you a chance to address the issue together (before something worse might potentially happen). Take that chance to listen to your team.

I talked more about this (and MUCH more) with Dental Assisting Uncharted. Thank you to Sherrie Busby and Julie | RDA, CDA, CDIPC for having me.

12 locations. 12 teams. But are we following 12 different sets of rules? 👀

The answer should be all following ONE consistent protocol! As healthcare organizations grow, consistency becomes even MORE important.

Because when one location handles training one way, another has its own process, and a third is doing what they’ve “always done,” those little differences can turn into very real gaps.

A strong compliance program creates clear expectations across the organization while giving teams the education and tools they need to actually follow them. ✔️

This isn’t about me walking in and pointing out everything you’re doing wrong. Not at all. It’s about building safer, smarter systems that work across your entire organization.

So here’s my question for healthcare leaders: If I walked into three of your locations tomorrow, would I see the same safety standards in action? 👀

NOW is the time to plan for OSHA training. My calendar is filling up QUICK! Reach out to me to see how I can help! Message me or email [email protected]

Spooky season is approaching… but dental teams experience jump scares ALL year long. 👻😂

If you work in dentistry, you already know. Some moments just make your heart drop a little. 😅

Which one is TOO relatable? 👀
