We didn't see any of this coming. Grateful doesn't quite cover it.

A decade later, and it still doesn't feel real how far this has come, or how many families have let us be part of their homes along the way. Thank you for being here for it.

POV: it's leaf pile season and now everyone's sneezing nonstop. Anyone else?

An ER trip can rule out the scary thing and still leave you with more questions than answers.

That's when we lean on the basics: rest, comfort, and gentle liver support while the body sorts itself out on its own timeline.

Liver Love and Castor Packs are two of our go-to tools for exactly that kind of in-between moment, especially for growing kids whose bodies are already working overtime through hormonal changes.

Comment "LIVERHELP" for the products we used.

Quality isn’t something we’re willing to take someone else’s word for. It’s something we want to understand firsthand. 🌿

That’s why members of our team recently visited The Perfumery, our primary essential oil supplier. CEO Ben, CMO Kate, Marketing Manager Victoria, and Quality Assurance Manager Joy toured the facility together.

We wanted to meet the people behind our ingredients, see their processes for ourselves, understand what matters to them, and ask the kinds of questions that help us make better decisions for Earthley families.

During the visit, we toured their facility and laboratory and learned how their team evaluates essential oils using six different testing methods:

🔬 GC-MS testing
👃 Organoleptic evaluation
⚖️ Specific gravity
💧 Refractive index
↩️ Optical rotation
🎨 Colorimeter testing

No single test tells the whole story. Together, these methods help verify that an oil is what it claims to be and that it meets established quality standards.

Strong products begin with strong relationships. Knowing the people who supply our ingredients, understanding how they work, and seeing how seriously they take quality gives our team greater insight and accountability at every step.

When it comes to essential oils, a familiar brand name doesn’t determine quality. What matters is where the plants come from, how they’re grown and harvested, how the oils are produced, and whether proper testing confirms their identity and purity.

We don’t want to be disconnected from the ingredients we use. We want to keep learning, asking questions, and staying personally involved, because you trust us to make thoughtful choices for your family.

A lot of modern medicine actually started in a garden. Aspirin came from willow bark. Digitalis, still prescribed for heart conditions today, came from foxglove. The line between "herbal" and "real medicine" is a lot newer than most people think.

If you're new to natural remedies, check the comments for our FREE beginner's guide to getting started.

You're allowed to skip the cough syrup and make your own instead.

Alfalfa, oatstraw, red raspberry leaf. Not another coffee.

These herbs nourish rather than stimulate. Alfalfa brings overall vitality, red raspberry leaf brings minerals, and oatstraw is there for the nervous system, especially on the days that need it most.

Full recipe and our ready-made option linked in the comments.

Nobody explained what your adrenals have to do with perimenopause. So we're explaining it to each other.

As estrogen and progesterone production winds down heading into menopause, the adrenal glands step in to help take over some of that hormone production, all while still doing their regular job managing your body's stress response. That's a lot to ask of one set of glands, and it's part of why perimenopause can feel like your whole system is working overtime.

Supporting the adrenals directly, not just chasing hormone levels, is often where real relief starts. An adrenal cocktail (orange juice, coconut milk, and a little sea salt) gives them fast access to vitamin C, potassium, and sodium, nutrients they burn through quickly during this transition. Ashwagandha and licorice root are traditionally used to support the body's stress response during exactly this kind of shift.
