This Leo Season Solar Eclipse on August 12, 2026 is shaping up to be a real doozy. You may already be seeing or hearing of BIG changes in the lives of people you know, maybe even your own. New hirings. And firings. Promotions. Big moves. Engagements. Breakups. Departures. Deaths and births.

Eclipses are portals in time, space, and our awareness. They always mark periods of transition, of beginnings and endings. Solar Eclipses are essentially "super" new moons, with added emphasis upon a fresh new season or cycle that is beginning, though on occasion, something may need to be cleared away first before it can truly commence. Events may seem to unfold at a rapid pace in the days and weeks leading up to and immediately following a Solar Eclipse to clear out any such obstacles that stand between us and the new pathway opening up for us.

Lunar Eclipses, in turn, are "super" full moons, emphasizing the culmination of a cycle and representing a time of harvest, perhaps accompanied by a sudden realization, acknowledgment, significant departure, or ending. They are typically less about something new beginning, and more often about something reaching a climax or turning point.

Eclipses always come in pairs, and they always include both Solar and Lunar eclipses roughly about two weeks apart from each other. The Lunar Eclipse following this Solar Eclipse will take place on August 28, 2026.

Want to know if this Solar Eclipse is directly affecting you or someone you know? Your birthday or theirs may be a clue. Anyone born between August 10-14 (Leo), November 10-14 (Scorpio), February 6-10 (Aquarius), and May 8-12 (Ta**us) will likely experience some event of significance and of a very personal nature during this time. These dates cover the range of degrees in each of the four "fixed" signs where the energy of this August's Solar Eclipse will be felt most strongly. This is, of course, only considering the position of the Sun in a natal chart. You or someone may have other planets around these degrees, other than or in addition to the Sun, and they could also be impacted by the eclipse.

Want to better understand what's happening in your life or in the world around you? I currently have a few slots open for readings this month, but given that it's eclipse season, time is moving fast and they are too. PM me if interested.

A new year brings a new heavenly agenda, and the early part of 2026 is dominated by a rare signature transit: Saturn conjunct Neptune in early Aries, exact on February 20, 2026.

This is the first meeting of Saturn and Neptune since 1989, a time the world saw major structures and boundaries dissolve and rapidly reorganize. Saturn represents structures, institutions, and limits. Neptune dissolves, blurs, and spiritualizes. When they meet, we often see a dissolving of old frameworks and the slow emergence of new ones.

And because this conjunction occurs at 0° Aries, the very beginning of the zodiac. It can correlate with events that feel like first-draft history: bold new starts, competing visions, and real tension over what replaces what’s falling away.

In this video, I walk through the now-through-late April window, the historical rhyme with 1989, and what this transit may be revealing about the next chapter ahead.

Question for you: Where do you feel “old structures” dissolving in your own life—or in the world right now?
